The physicians of Family Practice Associates have over 100 years of combined experience in providing quality medical care to individuals of all ages since 1979. Dr. Terrance Simon, Dr. Eugene Pogorelec and Dr. Wayne Lutzke are family doctors concerned about your complete healthcare needs, including not only acute and chronic illnesses, but also preventative health measures and holistic care.
Family Practice Associates offers a variety of medical services such as x-rays and diagnostic ultrasounds, bone density testing, laboratory testing, physical therapy modalities, cardiovascular and pulmonary testing, and osteopathic treatments.
Our doctors treat many diseases and medical conditions. M Terrance Simon, DO
One of the founding partners of Family Practice Associates, Inc., Dr. Simon received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his post graduate family practice training at Doctor's Hospital of Stark County. A board certified family physician, he has been in practice since 1979 and remains active in local, state, and national medical organizations.
Eugene D Pogorelec, DO
Dr. Pogorelec is a board certified family physician and founding partner of Family Practice Associates, Inc. He received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his post graduate family practice training at Doctor's Hospital of Stark County, he began practice in 1979. Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Pogorelec is active in local, state, and national medical organizations.
Wayne H Lutzke, DO
Dr Lutzke graduated in 1963 from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. After his internship, he practiced in Columbus, Ohio from 1964-1969. Since 1969 he has practiced in Stark County and is certified in Family Practice. Dedicated to his profession, Dr Lutzke joined Family Practice Associates in 1997.
JULY 2016 IS CORD BLOOD AWARENESS MONTH!
Cord blood is taken from the umbilical cords of newborn infants. This blood contains stem cells that can help someone in need of a bone marrow transplant. The patient receiving the blood and the donor must meet certain criteria to be considered a match for a successful transplant. There are cord blood banks that collect the cord blood and are stored for future use.
